Taking a hint from the groundbreaking American TV series "Sex and the City," this sexy comedy (with lots of laughs) focuses on the lives of a group of female friends in Hong Kong who gather regularly to talk about sex and the men in their lives. Knockout Selina (Carina Lau) leads the group, who call themselves the "Eight Ladies Club," as they navigate the perils of love in the big city.

Bad Movie Night Back Catalog

Almost every movie we've rented from Netflix -- so far -- has been posted here for reference, with a few (okay... ALOT) of exceptions. Confessions of a Superhero

On Hollywood Boulevard, wannabe stars dress up as superheroes and pose for photos with tourists. Matt Ogens's documentary follows four dreamers who are just killing time until they're discovered. Get to know a Superman who takes the role a bit too seriously, an Incredible Hulk who sold his prized video game system for a bus ticket to Tinseltown, a Midwestern beauty queen turned Wonder Woman and a Batman in need of anger management therapy.

Perhaps Love (Ru Guo · Ai)

Blurring reality and fantasy, this lavish foreign-language romance concerns a love triangle between a leading actress (Xun Zhou) and her director (Jackie Cheung) during the making of a movie musical. Ironically, the film within the film tells a similar tale, providing an effective vehicle for heightened drama. With spectacular song and dance numbers, this lavish salute to Hollywood won six out of 11 nominations at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Shinobi: Heart Under Blade

It's X-Men meets Romeo and Juliet in Ten Shimoyama's ninja action thriller. Gennosuke (Joe Odagiri), from the Koga ninja clan, falls in love with Oboro (Yukie Nakama), from the rival Iga clan. The tribes are already exiled to the mountains, but the evil Shogun is intent on eliminating them. He pits the clans against each other in a duel to the death, where the ninjas wield their supernatural powers. But will inbred hate snuff out forbidden love?

SOUTH-KOREAN HORROR RIP OFF: Addicted

Addicted (Jungdok)
Life is rosy for Eun-su (Mi-yeon Lee), her husband, Ho-jin (Eol Lee), and his younger brother, Dae-jin (Byung-hun Lee). But two separate car accidents radically change that dynamic. Ho-jin dies from his injuries, but in a queer event, Dae-jin awakes from his coma and demonstrates many of his sibling's personal characteristics. Drawn to Dae-jin, Eun-su begins to ponder if her husband's soul is, in fact, trapped in the body of her brother-in-law.

Possession
Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Jess, a woman whose life is torn apart when her husband, Ryan (Michael Landes), and brother-in-law, Roman (Lee Pace), crash in a horrific car accident. Both brothers end up in comas, with little hope of recovery. But Roman wakes up and, when he does, insists he is her husband. As time goes on, Jess struggles with the possibility that the spirit of her beloved husband has returned to her in the body of her brother-in-law, or that something much more sinister is at work.

3 Iron (Bin-Jip)

This moving film, written and directed by Kim Ki-Duk and starring Lee Seung-yun and Jae Hee, made its North American debut at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. A study of impermanence and despair, it tracks how a homeless man attempts to find solace and sanctuary in vacation houses left empty by their owners in between visits. Although he may have a roof over his head during his stay, the fleeting nature of security continues to haunt him.

District B13 (Banlieue 13)

Produced and co-written by acclaimed filmmaker Luc Besson, this stylized action thriller is set in Paris 2010, where the government has fenced off the city's ghettos, the most dangerous of which is District B13. Teaming up to infiltrate the lawless sector, an elite-unit cop and a reformed vigilante put their lives on the line in a gutsy attempt to retrieve a stolen nuke and thwart a terrorist attack by the city's most powerful gang.

Dance of the Dead

Kitaro (Gegege no Kitaro)

Based on the popular manga series, Katsuhide Motoki's fantastical film follows the half-human, half-yokai Kitaro (Eiji Wentz) as he struggles to maintain harmony between the humans of Gegege Forest and the mysterious spirits -- yokai -- who share the same woods. When sinister forces discover a magical ball, Kitaro must recover the powerful device before it disrupts the delicate balance between the two groups that inhabit the forest.
